Patient to Patient :

There are quite a few organisms which colonize the skin, hair and mucous membranes of people and at least 25% of people will be found with such organisms which can be life threatening like Acinetobacter strains and MRSA (found in the nose flora of people). So these organisms (bacteria) travel from one person to other and to patients infecting them. So in case any person is immunocompromised, then deadly infections can happen or infect somebody else during the stay in the hospital.
